Kuroudo TSUJI "LOST ANIMALS"

Born in 1985, Kuroudo Tsuji started his career as a sculptor after graduating from Graduate School of Art, Musashino Art University this spring.
This is his first solo exhibition after showing his works at various art events and group exhibitions including large-scaled outside installations while in school.
Tsuji has been using diverse mediums to express himself.
At this exhibition, there will be new works of animal series made with metal scrap materials to which he has a strong commitment recent years.
The extinct animals in Japan are reincarnated with "the carcasses of machines" by the artist' s hands.
Japanese Crested Ibis, Ezo Wolf, and Japanese River Otter, animals lost because of the humans have been reproduced with the metal scraps which have fulfilled their role in our society for its economical growth.
They will cut deeply into our paradoxical heart.
