My works are structured by the colors.
At the surface of the canvas, the energy of their contrasts, are embodying the energy of the piece of art itself.
This feeling which increase with the use of high saturated, complementary colors, when I' m penetrated by it, I feel in myself swirling a clash of passion and impulses.
At the time the work is sublimed by this embodiment, I feel an ephemeral catharsis.
At the starting point of the creative process, the work of art is just canvas and oil paints.
The Art comes later, thanks to a physical action combined with an inner approach to get to the root of what I want to express.
When the work takes form, I can get an answer to my intellectual approach.
Sometimes it comes immediately; sometimes it can take like an eternity.
Though, if I pursue on this approach, in front of my eyes "canvas and paints" will turn into a work of Art.
It takes me to a place where, all the time and energy given to achieve the work but also all the ways I have been through get affirmed.
It is almost like, a shamanic act, facing both the canvas and the painting, waiting for that particular moment to come.
In order to immerse myself deeper into the colors, in other words to reach the state of introspection, I use plants and animals as motifs to translate my feelings.
The fragile feeling and the instant impulses, hard to be translated into words, I would like to share them through colors and motifs.
